Cards for Every Ocassion

Created by Janae

Take a look through our gallery of cards that Janae has been making.  On Mondays she'll be posting a new card idea and tutorial each week.  Have you gone and bought a card lately?  Anywhere between $5 and up for a nicely decorated card.  I've sat there and looked and looked for a card that would be best for a certain ocassion and have ended up leaving because I couldn't find an appropriate one.
Think of all the great tools you have in your craft room to make a card.  Paper stacks, adhesive, glitter, stamps, embellishments, ribbons, edge trimmers, embossers, die cutters, etc.  Why spend the money at the store when you could use those funds to go towards something better.... crafting! And the blessings the recipients get by receiving a handcrafted card from you.  Now take a peek at our gallery and then check out our tutorials every Monday evening!

You can see the Silhouette working madly in the background.  We love our Silhouettes.  Sometimes we have to force ourselves to pick up our scissors and paper trimmers.  Otherwise, it's so easy with Silhouette Studio Designer to create all of your pieces right there on your desktop and have it cut out with the utmost precision and efficiency.
Janae has posted a video for this cute little pop-up card.  Its a great way to send a card that has a photo of something fun and for the recipient to keep the card and photo on display.
Yes, boxes can be cards too.  3-dimensional cards.  You can put your greetings on the outside or the inside.  Put a little bit of candy, a trinket, some balloons and a candle for an instant party.  One cute idea a friend gave to me was this little pick-me up kit:  A Bandaid - for when things get rough; a Lifesaver - to remind your that you can come to Jesus for help; a Marble - To take place of those you have lost; a Rubberbad - to remind you to be flexible; a Puzzle Piece - Without you, things wouldn't be complete; a Clothspin - To remind you to hang in there; a Candy Hug - Here's one from me!; Eraser - to remind you that everyone makes mistakes; Pennies - so you can give someone your 2 cents worth; Mint - To remind you that you are worth a mint to God; Tea - Remember to relax and count your blessings; a Button - to remind you that some things are better left unsaid. - Amen.
Thanks for taking a peek through our gallery.  We have so much more we are excited to include in here.  Keep checking back for our updates!
